Near-term weakness in sight for equities

As we kick off a fresh five-session set this Monday we leave behind a week of price action in US equities that increasingly points to at least a more volatile near-term environment.
After weeks of a low-volatility grind higher in stocks, last Friday’s January jobs report spooked the market and finally resulted in a down week.
