Tiffany could sparkle despite dollar gloom

US domestic consumer discretionary stocks look attractive in this surging US dollar environment as its deflationary forces help the purchasing power of the US consumer.

Luxury goods retailer Tiffany & Co (TIF:xnys), with only about 50% of its sales in the United States, is currently seen by many analysts as a company struggling from the headwinds of a strong US dollar, given negative implications the strong dollar has on its international sales.

I am willing to take the other side of this argument, however, as any further relative strength in US retailer stocks may also help lift TIF stock higher.
